Review of the US Bank Altitude Reserve (2018)

There are a number of different premium credit cards out there, but US Bank’s Altitude Reserve is special. Earn x3 points on MOBILE WALLET SPEND!

There are a ton of Visa Infinite credit cards starting to flood the US market, but one of the better cards is US Bank’s Altitude Reserve. That being said, this is not an easy credit card to obtain.

Requirements to get the credit card: (US Bank is stingy with extending lines of credit)

  1. An open account with US Bank (at least a month old)
  2. A very good credit score/utilization (Probably need to make at least 60k+ as well)

Benefits: (Click me to find out more)

The important benefits to note: 12 months of Priority Pass, Free TSA Pre Check or Global Entry every 4 years, 12 free GOGO airline wifi sessions, and $325 Annual Travel Credit.

Cashback (points):

  1. Earn 3X points for every $1 on eligible net travel purchases and mobile wallet spending.
  2. Earn 1X points for all other purchases.

Annual Fee: $400

Introductory offer: Earn 50,000 bonus points (worth $750 on travel) by spending $4,500 in the first 90 days. (You need to spend on average $1,500 a month for 3 months)

Should you get it?: If you can get this credit card it is recommended. The introductory offer and $350 annual travel credit makes this card very worth it the first year. After that, you need to be spending lots with a mobile wallet. That being said, US bank is quite stingy and has closed accounts on people buying gift cards.
